What We Do
MEND provides resources, education, and concrete support to the community through a team of Community Ambassadors. Our Community Ambassador Network (CAN) serves the most disadvantaged and marginalized communities in the San Fernando Valley, prioritizing communities with the highest needs.
Community Ambassadors provide mental health and wellness resources, connections to support services in the community, trauma informed care and wellness trainings to the community, facilitate community events focused on providing resources, and distribute concrete support which include but is not limited to: diapers, wipes, rental assistance, bill assistance, and food support.
