What We Do
Administrative Support Volunteers supporting MEND's ECM team will concentrate their efforts in assessing, verifying, and updating client applicant information collected through various surveys and reports.
Enhanced Care Management (ECM) is a state-wide Medi-Cal benefit available to select members with complex needs. Qualifying participants receive support from a Specialist at MEND who can help coordinate all their health-related care, including physical, mental, dental care, and social services. Enhanced Care Management is a benefit that makes it easier for participants to get the right care at the right time in the right setting and receive care that goes beyond the doctor’s office or hospital.
Through ECM, MEND can also help connect participants to resources that help address health-related needs, such as healthy foods to support diet and nutrition, and safe housing to help with recovery from an illness.
