As a volunteer driven organization, MEND has implemented critical policies and procedures to help manage and preserve a strong base of volunteers. Assistant volunteers support this effort by helping maintaining up-to-date volunteer records tied to these agreements. Assistants also provide guidance to others willing donate their time and skills which helps MEND cultivate pleasant, productive, and worth-while volunteer experiences.
