Activity: “MEND DAY” plus Buen Provecho- Farmers Market

Description: MEND Day is our annual rah-rah super fun community event! Come and take part in some community activities including a kids/adults color corner and fun stretching and exercise from our Wellness team. We will also be incorporating a back-to-school backpack distribution!
Help in the preparation of fruit, vegetables, bread, and packaged goods for distribution at Buen Provecho- Farmers Market. Assist participants in the check-in/ check-out process by weighing bags of food (bilingual preferred).
You will be assisting MEND in providing a supply of quality, healthy produce, and other foods to our community in addition to providing PPE kits, general mental health and wellness resources, resources that will reduce the mental and physical health impacts of COVID-19 trauma.
We will need help in all Departments so come take part in a fun day!
