Stamp out Hunger is the nation’s largest all-volunteer one-day food collection effort. Volunteers help collect and organize items to stock their local food pantries.
Join MEND by volunteering at a local Post Office by unloading bags of donated goods, sorting and organizing items, as well as preparing them for delivery to MEND’s Food bank for distribution to those in need. Group volunteers is encouraged and will assist Postal Workers by helping unload the donated food from their vehicles, review donated items and sort by item type. Organize and store items in boxes and prepare them for delivery to the MEND food bank. Report any incidents or concerns to appointed MEND lead.
